Current Bill Summary

SCS/SB 686 - Currently, a city of the fourth classification may proceed with street improvements if a majority of property owners liable for taxation for the improvements who reside in the city at the date of passage of the resolution do not protest the plans. This act removes the requirement that the owners of the property liable taxation shall reside in the city at the date of the passage of the resolution.
