SB 1125 - This act requires that any special administrative board or alternative governing structure established by the State Board of Education in an unaccredited or transitional school district shall be dissolved no later than seven years after the establishment of said governing structure, at which time the State Board of Education shall provide for a transition back to local governance, as described in the act.

Any special administrative board or alternative governing structure in operation as of the effective date of this act shall transition back to local governance by school year 2023-2024.
