SB 1118 - This act modifies the tuition increase cap provision of the Higher Education Student Funding Act by changing the definition of "tuition" to clarify that required student fees includes any required fee associated with full time enrollment at an institution of higher education.

This act also requires that any fee established by the student body of an institution of higher education subsequent to the effective date of this act shall expire no later than ten years after the effective date of the fee unless reauthorized by a majority vote of the student body. Any fee established by the student body of an institution of higher education prior to the effective date of this act shall expire ten years after the effective date of this act unless reauthorized by a majority vote of the student body.
