SCS/SB 1078 - This act allows applicants for commercial driver's licenses that are active duty or retired military to submit documents which provide proof of approved military training to have the knowledge or skills tests, or both, waived. This act also makes a technical change specifying that the director empowered to promulgate rules to comply with federal regulations relating to commercial driver's licenses is the Director of the Department of Revenue.

This act has a delayed effective date of June 1, 2017.
