Current Bill Summary

SJR 32 - Currently, a regular session of the General Assembly ends on the first Friday following the second Monday in May. This proposed constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, changes the date to the first Friday following the first Monday in May. This is the same date as the deadline for the final passage of appropriation bills.

This amendment is identical to SJR 8 (2015).
