SB 291 - This act allows the Department of Revenue to establish rules under Section 32.096 necessary for the electronic release of liens on motor vehicles and motorboats and other related water craft. This act also allows for such electronic release of lien under Sections 301.640 for motor vehicles and 306.420 for motorboats and other related water craft.

This act is similar to SB 954 (2014) and HCS/HB 1999 (2014).
