SB 92 - Under current law, candidates for county collector, treasurer, and collector-treasurer must present a signed affidavit from a surety company indicating that the candidate meets the statutory bond requirements for office.

This act specifies that the candidate has to present the copy of the affidavit within ten business days of filing for office and that the affidavit has to indicate the candidate is eligible to obtain a bond in an amount that meets the statutory requirements.
