SB 88 - Currently, officers appointed under the laws of the state shall hold their officers until their successors are appointed, commissioned, and qualified. This act provides that appointed officers shall hold office only until their term ends. If a successor is not appointed, then the office shall remain vacant until such time as a successor is appointed.

This act is identical to SB 752 (2014).
