HB 918 - This act modifies provision relating to economic development.

MISSOURI INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ADVERTISING FUND (620.1915)

This act creates the Missouri International Business Advertising Fund. The fund will consist of appropriated moneys, gifts, contributions, grants and bequests. Moneys in the fund will be used for advertising to attract international businesses to Missouri. The fund will be administered by the Missouri Small Business Technology and Development Center.

This provision is similar to HB 1055 (2014), HCS/HB 79 (2013), and HB 1801 (2012). This provision is similar to a provision in HB 540 (2015), HCS#2/SCS/SB 777 (2014) and HCS/HB 630 (2013).

COMPREHENSIVE STATE ENERGY PLAN (620.3150)

This act requires any comprehensive state energy plan developed by the Division of Energy to be approved by the General Assembly before becoming effective.

This provision is identical to HB 923 (2015), a provision in HCS/SCS/SB 152 (2015), and a provision in HB 1305 (2015).
