SB 987 - This act requires that of the state portion of sales or use taxes collected, a portion be deposited into the State Road Fund. The act phases in the amount required to be deposited over a period of four years, and once fully phased in, 1/8 of all state sales and use tax collected must be deposited into the State Road Fund.

The passage of this act is contingent upon voter approval of a Senate Joint Resolution amending the Missouri Constitution to require certain amounts of sales and use taxes be deposited into the State Road Fund.
