SB 845 - This act mandates that regular courses of driver education and training be given at all public and private high schools in the state of Missouri, except for privately operated trade schools. This act further requires an additional one dollar fee to be collected by the Department of Revenue for the issuance of instruction permits, intermediate driver's licenses, driver's licenses, and commercial driver's licenses to be deposited in the "Driver Education and Training Fund" to be distributed on an average daily attendance basis to school districts eligible to receive state aid pursuant to Section 163.021.
