Current Bill Summary

SCS/SB 305 - This act provides that applicants for a physician's license who graduated from an approved medical college prior to January 1, 1994, must provides proof of successfully completing specified exams. Applicants who graduated on or after January 1, 1994, must provide proof of completing the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), an exam administered by the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, or compliance with certain certifying boards specified in the act.

This act is identical to provisions contained in SS/HCS/HB 315 (2013).
