SB 238 - Employers may not require employees to become or refrain from becoming a member of a labor organization or pay dues or other charges required of labor organization members as a condition of employment. Employers who do so commit a Class C misdemeanor. Prosecuting attorneys and the Attorney General are charged with investigating complaints.

This act is similar to HB 877 (2005), SB 888 (2010), SB 1 (2011), SB 109 (2011), SB 438 (2012), SB 614 (2012), SB 547 (2012), and SB 76 (2013).
