SCS/HCS#2/HB 1317 - This act adds the act of recklessly causing abusive head trauma to a child less than 5 years of age by shaking, jerking, pushing, pulling, slamming, hitting, or kicking to the Class C felony of child abuse. In addition, this act makes child abuse a Class B felony if the person inflicts serious physical injury on a child less than two years of age. MEGHAN LUECKE
