HCS/HB 685 - This act specifies that the Highway Patrol does not have to be accompanied by the county sheriff when serving search warrants for offenses relating to driving while intoxicated and for the investigation of motor vehicle traffic accidents. The Highway Patrol shall not be required to notify the county sheriff of any search warrant for offenses relating to driving while intoxicated.
