HCS/SCS/SB 468 - This act modifies the definition of "adult" for the purposes of adult abuse statutes by modifying the age of an adult from eighteen years old to seventeen years old. Local law enforcement agencies or other government agencies are required to enter information regarding the service of ex parte orders of protection into the Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement system within twenty-four hours after the ex parte order is served. Law enforcement agencies must also enter information regarding the expiration, termination, or denial of an ex parte order within twenty-four hours of receiving information evidencing such expiration, termination, or denial.

Provisions of this act are similar to provisions of SS/HCS/HB 481 (2009), HB 897 (2009), and HB 325 (2009).
