HCS/HJR 48 - This proposed constitutional amendment, if approved by voters, would allow laws to be established requiring voters to provide valid government-issued photo identification in order to vote. In such a case, the state is required to provide at least one form of the required identification at no cost to an individual who does not already possess such identification.
