HCS/HBs 1595 & 1668 - This act creates a tax credit for the costs of constructing a storm shelter. The credit will equal the lesser of fifty percent of the costs incurred in constructing the storm shelter or two thousand dollars. The tax credit is non-refundable and non-transferrable. The tax credit program will sunset six years from the effective date of the act on December thirty-first.
