SS/SB 570 - This act creates the Joint Committee on Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations. The committee shall be composed of 10 members, with 3 members appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, 2 members appointed by the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, 3 members appointed by the Senate Pro Tem, and 2 members appointed by the Minority Leader of the Senate. The Committee shall conduct a comprehensive study of concentrated animal feeding operations in Missouri, which shall include the economic impact and regulation of such operations and any other issue the Committee deems relevant. The Committee's findings and recommendations shall be in the form of a report submitted to the General Assembly by December 31, 2007.
