HB 1536 - Under current law, administrative penalties collected for a violation of the laws regarding lead abatement and lead poisoning prevention are deposited into the Missouri Lead Abatement Loan Fund. This act requires the penalties to be distributed annually to the schools of several counties. This act also authorizes the Director of the Department of Health and Senior Services to issue administrative consent orders in the settlement of any proceeding brought under the provisions of this act for violations of the lead abatement and poisoning prevention laws. The settlement proceeds received by the director will be credited to the Missouri Lead Abatement Loan Fund.
