SB 1217 - Under current law, contracts for public projects exceeding $25,000 must be let to the lowest responsive bidder and are subject to certain advertisement requirements. This act raises the ceiling to $100,000. The act repeals a provision requiring advertisement in two daily newspapers with at least a circulation of 50,000.CHRIS HOGERTY
