SB 1365 - This act, subject to appropriation, causes the General Assembly to encourage the development of veterans' outreach and education programs which promote the historical significance of veterans' military service. These programs must be approved by the Executive Director of the Missouri Veterans Commission and will be conducted inside public schools, veteran cemeteries, veteran homes, and other institutions. The provisions of this section will expire six years from the effective date of the act.

The act also creates the Veterans' Historical Education Trust Fund, to be administered by the Missouri Veterans Commission. The fund will be used to finance veterans' outreach and educational programs.

This act merges the provisions of HB 1381 and HB 1382.
