SCS/SB 1177 - This act pertains to Joint Municipal Utility Commissions.
In 2002, voters approved a constitutional amendment allowing joint municipal utility commissions to develop utility projects with municipalities, electric cooperatives, or public utilities without additional regulation from the Missouri Public Service Commission. This act updates the Missouri Revised Statutes to reflect these changes.
The provisions of this act are similar to provisions in
HCS/HB 1171.
