Current Bill Summary

SB 704 - This act allows a person who has received two DWIs within a five-year period to receive a limited driving privilege after serving 90 days of the revocation period. Under the current law, a circuit court or the director of revenue may allow a person who has had his or her driver's license revoked because he or she obtained two DWIs within a five-year period to obtain a limited driving privilege if the person has served at least two years of the revocation.
