Current Bill Summary

SB 1342 - This act requires the Office of Administration to conduct a study addressing the nursing shortage in this state and the cost-effectiveness of increasing efforts to improve recruitment of nurses, to increase enrollment of nurses at Missouri schools of nursing, and to provide incentives to retain nurses in this state. An advisory panel of nurses shall make written recommendations to the Commissioner of the Office of Administration by July 1, 2005.
