SB 1257 - This act imposes civil liability on any person violating Missouri's informed consent law for abortion.

Currently, Section 188.028, RSMo, requires informed consent of a minor or her parent or guardian before an abortion may be performed. This act provides for civil liability of any person who knowingly violates this section and enables a minor to obtain an abortion without the required consent.
