HJR 005 Allows approval of school bond issues by simple majority at certain elections

HJR 5 - This proposed constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, provides that school bond issues may be approved by simple majority vote on all general municipal election days and all general election days. Currently, school bond issues must obtain a four-sevenths majority for approval at municipal, primary and general elections and a two-thirds majority for all other elections.

This act is similar to SJR 11 (2001).
