HB 0881 (Truly Agreed) Modifies election process for nursing home district directors
Current Bill Summary
- Prepared by Senate Research -

SCS/HB 881 - This act allows more flexibility in the election of nursing home district directors. Currently, directors are elected from within each of six election districts. New language allows for the election of either six at-large nursing home district directors or one director from each of six election districts. After the initial election establishing the board of directors, the circuit court may choose to elect the board at large.

This act is substantially similar to SB 491 (2001).
