SCS/HB 796 - This act requires compliance with federal law in drug labeling. The current language in Section 196.100, RSMo, regarding drug labeling, is removed. New language provides that any manufacturer, packer, distributor, or seller of drugs or devices must comply with current federal labeling law. Any drug or device with non-compliant labeling will be deemed misbranded. The current language regarding drug dispensing and language allowing the Department to make rules are added back to the act.

This act is identical to SB 514 (2001).
