SCS/HB 691 - This act requires the Director of the Department of Revenue to notify registered motor vehicle owners of the date of re-registration within a time period prior to the registration period. Under current law, the Director may notify an owner. Failure of the owner to receive notice does not relieve the owner from the duty of registering his or her vehicle.
