Current Bill Summary

SCS/SB 270 - This act provides that in executive branch agencies that employ more than one administrative law judge, that also charge one of the administrative law judges with responsibility for office, the chief administrative law judge shall be elected by such judges for a two year term. The provision is effective January 1, 2002.

This act is similar to provisions of SB 1 and SB 268 (2001).
