SB 123 - This act provides that the design, marketing, manufacture or sale of firearms or ammunition is not an unreasonably dangerous activity and does not constitute a nuisance per se. The act prohibits political subdivisions, as well as the state, from instituting a lawsuit against any firearms or ammunition manufacturer relating to design, marketing, manufacture or sale to the public. The act allows actions regarding breach of contract or warranty for firearms or ammunition purchased by a state or political subdivision. Nothing in the act shall be interpreted as limiting any properly cognizable action at law or equity by an individual person or corporation other than the state or a political subdivision.
